I have to agre that there ar many myths about the ferocity of the pitbull. I have been the owner of pitbulls or the better part of 30 years. At one time I even hated my dads. That dog and all the dogs after have been the best dogs I've ever seen if there is any danger around they will protect you from it. My dads dog wouldnt even let me go swimming unless there was an adult around. LOL! Now atleast he was smart enough to know a nine year old didnt need to be swimming alone even if at the time i wasnt. It really makes me angry all the bad media these dogs have gotten over the years. You never hear about the good dogs. Just the ones that some idiot made mean for their own amusement and benefit. You never here about the mean chihuahas. You can make any animal mean if you are cruel to it!
